How to make a Sweet Little Hearts Appliqué Valentine Pillow
 
You will Need:
 
two pieces of cream fabric measuring 11"X7.5"
scrap pieces of red and pink fabric
fiberfill for stuffing
basic sewing needs
 
Here's a sweet little Valentine's day craft to make. It will add some Valentine charm in your home when you display this three hearts appliqué pillow!

Easy Valentine's Day projects to sew. Draw yourself a heart pattern measuring about 4"x4", or you are welcome to print our pattern here.

Print 3 Hearts Pillow Pattern Here

Make sure you set your printer to "fit" before printing.

Pin and cut out one heart of each Valentine print.
Here's an easy to sew Valentine's Day Applique pillow. Pin and cut out 3 hearts from 3 different Valentine fabrics.
Use a zigzag stitch to sew the hearts on your sweet Valentine's pillow. Pin the 3 hearts in place on the PRETTY SIDE of ONE of the cream colored fabric pieces. Zigzag appliqué them in place.
Place the pillow pieces PRETTY SIDES together. Pin around the outer edges.  Place two pins where you want to stop and start.  Leave about a 4" opening for turning and stuffing.

Notice on the right the double pins.  This is where I will not sew, and leave my opening for turning and stuffing.

Sew around the pillow using the pressure foot as your guide.
Trim seams if necessary and clip corners.  Turn your pillow to pretty side out through the opening. Poke out corners gently with a pencil to make them pointy and professional looking.
Stuff your cute little Valentine's day hearts pillow with fiberfill. Stuff the pillow and hand sew the opening closed!
