to Sew Sewing Studio (Crafts of Chadds Ford)

| LOVE TO SEW
is our sewing studio located in historic Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, about
20
miles south of Philadelphia, and 20 minutes from Wilmington, DE. We offer
sewing instructions for beginners as well as advanced, quilt making, craft
making, fashion, and costume design. Students have traveled from 8
neighboring states along the Eastern shore to attend our summer sewing
camps. We offer private lessons, birthday parties, and
classes for girl scouts and brownie troops. We have an annual "sleep
over" in the middle of winter, and summer sewing camps which are half
day or full day. We support local sewing shows, quilt shows, fashion shows, competitions, host
2-3 international
sewing contests a year, and encourage students to enter their projects, and take pride in
their work. We love to design clothes, purses, quilts, costumes,
anything...It is a challenge, fun to do, and awesome to see the end
results. A couple times a year our students will sew for others in need
like making quilts for kids with cancer, sewing heart pillows for heart
patients, sewing pillow cases for sick children, and just making projects
to help others. We just LOVE TO SEW! |
