"Iced Cinnamon Buns" is one of our designer country aprons. It is made from 100 % cotton calico pretty floral fabric, with a contrast of rust and brown plaid fabric.  The bottom hem has two layers of cream eyelet representing the "icing" of the apron.  It has long ties and deep pockets.

"Mr. Bumble Bee & Little Old Me" This adorable cotton bumble bee fabric is just right for the little garden helper.  It has golden pockets trimmed in pretty black rick-rack, long ties, and has a nice long hem line so the knees don't get dirty while gardening.

"Lazy Daisy Girl"-This adorable child's gardening apron is for little ones who enjoy being outside helping in the garden.  Green calico print pockets are trimmed in yellow and white rick-rack to bring out the tiny yellow and white daisies in the deep pink calico print fabric.  It has long ties and deep pockets to help keep garden gloves and supplies in. This apron is perfect for your little garden helper and fits sizes 6-12.

"Coffee Bean" designer apron is made from 3 coffee bean color coordinating cotton fabrics. The cream color fabric has "coffee beans" printed on it with beans and flowers.  The two dark brown fabric match nicely and are sewn in 3 vertical stripes to slim ones figure. This designer apron has deep pockets trimmed in golden color lace, and long ties for the back.  It is great for any one who just has to have their coffee each day.

"Pink Paws" is made from adorable bright orange, pink, and black, leopard print flannel fabric. It has a paw print on the front, long ties, and 2 front pockets. It's made for the animal lover in all of us.

The apron came about because of practical necessity. In years gone by, people didn't have the luxury of owning a large wardrobe. Washing and drying clothing was not done on a frequent basis. So aprons served a practical purpose of covering up the dress underneath to project it from soiling. This made washing much easier.  The apron would be washed every couple of days but the dress or clothing underneath did not have to be washed as much, perhaps maybe once a week.
