 "Rosemary"
a 1/2 garden apron wraps all the way around the back as shown in the photo
above. It is made from 100 % cotton calico fabric in a dark sage
green color, almost the color of the "Rosemary" plant, hence it's name.
It has 3 adorable large pockets that represent plant pot containers. |
|

 "Flames"
is for that little bit of "Dark Side" in all of us. I bought this
fabric to make a "Dark Side" quilt of all the Star Wars Villains, which
sold on eBay very quickly, and thought why not use the leftovers for a
denim apron? "Flames" has long ties, 2 pockets, and is trimmed in black
fabric with orange and yellow flames. |
|

"Pretty in Lace"
is our cute little dainty apron that can be worn over any dress. It
is made from pretty lace fabric has long ties in the back, bib top, and a
gathered waist. |
|

"Lion Cub"
Denim Designer apron is made with lion print fabric and has an adorable
lion cub print on the front. It has 2 pockets and long ties for the
back. |

"Nurse" Kitchen Apron
This lovely nurse kitchen apron
was made for the nurse who not only helps people but also loves to bake
and/or cook. The apron has long ties, big heart pockets with a red cross
on them and is made from 100 % cotton calico blue strip fabric.

"OOpsy Daisy"-
Our adorable "OOpsy Daisy" denim apron can be worn for gardening, baking,
or just helping mom around the house. It also makes an adorable fashion
statement and looks great with jeans and t-shirt. "OOpsy Daisy" has
pretty green rick-rack and yellow and white daisies on the pockets, and long
ties. |
| The apron came about
because of practical necessity. In years gone by, people didn't have the
luxury of owning a large wardrobe. Washing and drying clothing was not
done on a frequent basis. So aprons served a practical purpose of covering
up the dress underneath to project it from soiling. This made washing much
easier. The apron would be washed every couple of days but the dress or
clothing underneath did not have to be washed as much, perhaps maybe once
a week. Click here for
more apron history information. |
