Halloween craft for kids, a glitter bat family made from different size baby jars.

This cute little bat family is made from recycled baby food jars. Place the bat family on some candy corn on a plate and you have a nice Halloween center piece for your table. You can even put tea-lights in the jars!

How to Make Baby Jar Bat Family Halloween Kids Craft Project
 
You Will Need:
 
3 empty baby food jars, one small, one medium, one large
black craft paint
glitter paint or loose glitter
black construction paper
googly eyes or plastic gems
basic craft supplies

Halloween craft for kids, a glitter bat family made from different size baby jars. Remove the labels and clean the baby jars.
Halloween craft for kids, a glitter bat family made from different size baby jars. Paint the jars black. Let dry completely.
Halloween craft for kids, a glitter bat family made from different size baby jars. Draw and cut out 3 sets of wings for the bats, small, medium, and large, as shown. Draw and cut out 3 sets of triangles for ears.
Halloween craft for kids, a glitter bat family made from different size baby jars. Glue the eyes onto the jars, you can use plastic gems like I did or use googly eyes or buttons.

Paint on a smile with white paint, then paint small upside down triangles for fangs.

Paint the edges of the wings with glitter paint. Paint the ears completely with glitter paint and add loose glitter.

Glue the wings onto the backs of the jars. Glue the ears onto the rim of the jars.

Your bat family is done!
