These rustic petite
burlap hanging hearts will look pretty hanging in windows or on a
lit tree for Valentine's day. Or, don't add the hanger and make
several of them and put them in a basket as fillers.
Cut out 2 of the larger hearts
from burlap fabric.
Cut out 2 of the
smaller hearts from felt fabric.
Burlap has a tendency to
unravel rather quickly so the first thing we want to do is seam finish the
edges of the burlap hearts.
This is what the burlap looks like if you
do not do a zig-zag seam finish on the edges. Can you imagine how much it
would fray within a couple of days? This is what happened right away.
