How to make a Button Snowman Craft Ornament or Pillow

You will Need:

3 white buttons
two 4"x5" pieces of winter snowflake fabric
thin rope or ribbon for handle
small sticks from a branch
stuffing or fiberfill
basic sewing needs

You can make this cute easy to sew button snowman craft into a small pillow or an ornament for the tree!

Use pinking shears to get a nice edge on the fabric. If you have pinking shears cut the edges of your fabric to help it from fraying. This also gives your snowman craft a finished and country look around the edges.
Hand sew the three white buttons as your snowman on the fabric. Hand sew the three white buttons on the pretty side in the middle of ONE of the fabric pieces.

Either glue a tiny piece of orange felt on for the nose, or use an orange permanent marker to draw the snowman nose.

Hot glue the sticks on in the arm position.

Pin the fabrics pretty sides together. If you are making this for a pillow skip this paragraph. Place a ribbon for the handle  sandwiched in-between the craft at the top.

Pin the fabric pretty sides out around the top and two sides of the craft.

Stitch around the ornament using the pressure foot as your guide. Sew around the three sides of the snowman craft that are pinned using the pressure foot as your guide. Leave one side open. Stuff the craft with fiberfill or stuffing.
Here's the cute handmade button snowman craft. Put cinnamon on it to make it look primitive and smell good. Stitch up the last side of the craft. If you want to rub cinnamon on your snowman craft to make it look primitive and warn. And it makes it smell great too! Your adorable button snowman craft is done!

Enjoy Sewing!
