|Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line two (12-cup) muffin pans with white paper liners and set aside.
Prepare the cake mix batter according to
directions on box. Add 1tsp of Vanilla. Divide the batter in half and
place one half in another bowl. To one bowl add yellow food coloring and
mix well. To the other bowl, add orange food coloring and mix well.
Evenly divide yellow batter in cupcake
liners. Do the same to the orange batter. Bake for about 18-22 minutes.
Insert a wooden toothpick into cupcakes, when the toothpick comes out
clean, the cupcakes are done. Place on wire racks to cool.
Ice with a 7 minute frosting or try this
creamy marshmallow frosting:
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until
smooth. Add confectioners' sugar and vanilla and beat until combined. Add
marshmallow creme and beat until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add whipped
topping and beat until combined. Use immediately. Top with candy corns.
