Chocolate Covered
Marshmallows
Chocolate covered
marshmallows not only taste delicious but are very pretty when
arranged with different color chocolates on a stick like flowers in a
vase. These are always a hit when I have these at our parties.
Chocolate covered marshmallows taste great no matter which chocolate
flavored wafer you use; white, milk, or dark.
Melt the chocolate wafers to the
correct consistency. Turn off the heat and remove pan from stove. Make
sure your chocolate is not too hot and thin because it will not cover the
marshmallow correctly. Using a chopstick or thin tongs take a marshmallow and dip it
into the melted chocolate. Let it drip for a little bit in the pan. Then
transfer to a piece of wax paper to harden. If you want to add colored
sprinkles or drizzle red or green white chocolate candy melts, now would
be the time to do so, just before they begin to harden.
Once
the marshmallows are nice and hard you may package them. Chocolate covered
marshmallows look nice arranged on a stick with different colored
chocolates. Place the sticks of marshmallows in a vase and put a pretty
Christmas bow around it. This display makes a nice center piece for
a party table.
For little gifts, place 3-5 chocolate covered marshmallows in a bag and tie with a pretty
ribbon. Embellish with a mini tree ornament or Christmas greenery.
