Melt the 4 ounces of
baking chocolate in a microwave bowl until it has the consistency to
stir easily. Do not burn your chocolate, put in microwave for 30
seconds, then stir, repeat until ready. Set aside to cool.
In a large bowl beat
butter and sugar until fluffy. Drizzle cooled chocolate over butter
and sugar mixture. Add vanilla and beat until combined.
Take your time for this
next step so that everything is beat together nicely. Add in the eggs
one at a time about ever three minutes. Once the chocolate pie mix is
well combined and mixed, pour it into the baked pie shell.
Refrigerate for at least 2
hours. Enjoy this delicious rich chocolate pie, and top off with whip
cream if you want.
