Handmade Christmas Tree Ornaments

How to make a fabric Angel Christmas tree ornament.

Gather up some fabric, ribbon, wings, and grapevine baby wreaths to make this adorable country prim angel tree ornament.

Free Christmas Tree Ornament Sewing Pattern:

How to make a Cute Little Country Angel

You will Need:
small scraps of cream fabric
ribbon for handle (or use a metal ornament hook)
embellishments like wings, halo, ribbon, and heart for angel
fiber fill or stuffing
basic sewing needs

Draw a simple doll head and body shape as shown in the photo. Mine is about 5" wide by 6" tall. Cut two angels from tea-stained muslin.
Pin around the angel.  Leave an opening at the bottom. Stitch around the angel using the pressure foot as your guide.

Turn your angel pretty side out and stuff.

Hand stitch the opening closed.

Now the fun and creative part.  Add wings, a halo’, eyes from a thin marker, and blush from make-up.

Add a bow!

Last, rub cinnamon on your angel to “prim” her up and make her smell good!

Your Country Prim Angel ornament is done!
