How to make a Valentine's
Day Fabric Heart Pin, CUTE!
Sewing Accessories for Valentine's
Day

You will think our
Fabric Heart Pin is CUTE! It's easy to sew and can have any
Valentine saying!
|
 |
The only supplies you will
need for this Valentine Fabric Heart Lapel Pin is:
| |
| -scraps of pink fabric
|
| -black permanent marker |
| -stuffing (fiberfill) |
| Draw a 4"x4" heart on a
piece of paper to use as your pattern. Pin and cut out two hearts from
pink fabric. |
|
 |
On the pretty side of one of
the heart fabric pieces with a permanent marker print
the word "CUTE" in the center. Make sure you do not write
anywhere near the edges of the heart. You must leave room for a seam
allowance for when you sew the hearts together.
You can also use black embroidery thread and a
needle and hand sew the word on.
Be creative: There are plenty of other Valentine words
to use like:
SWEET, KISS, LOVE, HUGS, U R MINE, etc... |
 |
Place the two hearts PRETTY
SIDES TOGETHER and pin. Leave a 2" opening on one side as shown in the
photo indicated by the double pins.
Stitch around the outer edge of the heart
using the pressure foot as your guide. Make sure you don't sew at the
opening. |
 |
Turn your heart pretty side
out and stuff with fiberfill. |
|

|
Hand sew the opening of the
heart closed. Hand sew a pin closure
on the back of the heart or just use a safety pin! Your adorable Valentine
fabric heart pin is ready to be worn! |
