After watching the Lion,
the Witch, and the Wardrobe movie, Jessica wanted to create a winter
scene with a stag by a lamppost. Even though she fell in love with the
fabric art piece she ended up selling it for a nice price. |

Emily, 13, who won "Most
Creative" designer at our 2011 annual Love to Sew Studio awards banquet
designed and made this adorable fabric art piece. She combined cotton
fabrics, denim, upholstery, and rick-rack to create this striking rain
forest with an elephant, and a cute monkey swinging from a tree.

Turn your child's paper art
projects from years gone by into a long lasting piece of fabric art!
This piece was created 12
years after my son brought home the adorable paper bag turkey craft. After
being displayed year after year during the Thanksgiving time, the paper
craft began to ruin. So I decided to duplicated it as a piece of fabric
art so it could last for many more years to come and be passed onto his
family once he gets married. I also hand embroidered his name, age, and
year it was made. |

Emily loves Koala bears, so
when it came to make her piece of fabric art, she made the bear from faux
fur fabric and created the jungle background by sewing together stripes of
green fabric. |
|

This detailed piece of
fabric art took over 30 hours to make and is proudly displayed in our
sewing studio. The bold black lines on the tree and around the eyes of the
owl were created by zig-zagging over pieces of yarn. |
|

This piece of fabric art was
made rather quickly by just adding layers of circles representing
different flavors of ice-cream. |

Eight year old Morgan made
this fabric art for her Daddy to display near his work bench. How
adorable! I just love all the tools, wrench in pocket, saw, hammer and
nail, and screwdriver and screw. |

You can even do fabric art
on clothing! |
