"Make a Fabric Doll Contest for Kids and Adults who love to sew!
Simply said...Make a Fabric Doll, mail 3 good,
clear, pictures of it, the entry form, and the $10.00 entry fee to the
address listed below:
Do Not send your Doll! (just the pictures) We
don't want to take the risk of your doll getting lost or ruined after all the hard work
you put into it.
Age divisions:
Child:
(3 divisions) 8-12
years, 13-17 years
Adult:(18
& older) (2 divisions)
Adult
Novice – someone who has been sewing less than 3 years
Adult
Amateur - someone who has been sewing 3 years plus for
recreational purposes
Awards: in each division
1st
thru 5th Place - Beautiful Rosette Ribbon Awards
6th
thru 9th Place - Honorable Mention Award Ribbon
10th
thru 12th Place - Participant Award Ribbon
-One doll,
by judges choice, will be reined as "Miss Stitches" for one year, and will
have her own webpage. She will be mailed her "Miss Stitches" banner (sash)
and bouquet of flowers. Should your doll be the
winner of this, it is your responsibility to photograph her in her sash
and bouquet, and e-mail us the photo to post on the site.
Winners
will be notified by mail when they receive their award and judges sheets.

Rules:
-Make a fabric doll from any pattern, or
design your own doll.
-ALL of the doll must be fabric with the
exception of hair, and accessories added to your doll.
- Dolls must be larger
than 12".
-Send 3 clear and good pictures of the
doll. One of the front view, one of the face, and one of the back view.
(You may send more if you want to!)
-Entries will only be accepted by mail
and must be post marked on or before November 30, 2008.
-All entries must be family oriented and in
good taste to be displayed on the website. Any entries not meeting these
criteria will be disqualified.
-The doll must have been made between Nov.
2007 and Nov. 2008
-You are allowed to enter up to 3 dolls,
but each doll must have it's own photos, entry form, and entry fee.
-This doll contest is open to USA, UK,
Mexico, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
-The doll must have been made by the person
entering it.
-Crafts of Chadds Ford will not be
responsible for lost, late, misdirected, non-deliverable, postage due
mail, or collect shipments.
