FAQ's for placing an Ad on LoveToSew.com

Love To Sew Supports the ARTS!

What is the cost for ads? The Ads are Free.

What can I put in my ad page? Think 123 - You may have 1 ad, 2 photographs and 2 sentences, and 3 lines of information OR 3 links to your social media spots. See a sample ad here:

Can I change or update my ad? You can change and update your ad at any time.  Simply e-mail us the change.  We make the change upon your approval.

Can I have more than one ad? No. At this time we are only allowing one ad per customer.

I own a restaurant, can I place a free ad on your site? Absolutely not! At this time this free advertising is to support the art of sewing, knitting, fashion design, quilting, and crafting only. Think anything that has to do with Fibers and Fabrics!

How many ads can be on one page? Only one ad allowed per page.

When will I know my ad has expired? Most ads do not expire. We will keep an ad up until you tell us otherwise, or unless we decided not to continue with the free service. However, the ads of items for sale will expire after one month. Please contact us if you have not sold the item so we can keep the ad up another month.

What if I want an ad placed where another one is already? Our ads are run differently in each area. Some ads are placed on a first come basis. While other ad areas are placed by alphabetical or by state. We reserve the right to place ads where we feel best suited.

How many photos am I allowed to put in my ad? You are allowed two photos on each ad page. If you are sending us your blog, site, or Etsy banner, that counts as one photo.

I e-mailed my information a week ago and I still don't see my ad, what should I do? We put up the ads in the order they were received. Also keep in mind that this a free service and we could be backed up with e-mails. We try our best to get ads up within 3 days of receiving them. If you do not see your ad up after 2 weeks please send us a friendly reminder.

What happens to my information once it is received by you? Once we put up your ad with the information you provided us on our site, the information is then deleted and destroyed. We understand the importance of your privacy and would never give or sell your information to a third-party.

Why is Love To Sew offering this free service? Here at Love To Sew Studio we strongly believe in supporting the arts and this is our way of helping the art industry out, especially the sewing, crafting, knitting, fashion design, and quilting industry. We are also strong believers in helping and supporting the small family owned businesses whether locally or on-line.

(On a personal note, Judi Harris, director and owner of both Love to Sew Studio and www.lovetosew.com began her sewing career at age 15 when a lady saw her work and ask Judi to put her items in her local shop  in historic Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. She began selling her quilts and stuffed animals in local shops throughout the east coast. She has been guided by several people from that past generation that have placed a huge impact on how she feels about the arts and sharing her talents with the younger generation today. She wants to place that same positive impression and help out others just the way she was at such a young age.)
