How to Sew a Little Felt
Change Purse...an easy sewing
craft project for kids to sew |

This little felt craft project is great for beginner sewers!
Felt Projects Kids Can Sew |

To make your pattern cut a
piece of computer paper 5" wide X 9" long. Curve the upper two corners as
shown in the photo. Mark your pattern as shown. |

Pin and cut out
your little change purse from one piece of felt. |

|
Decorate and
embellish your felt change purse any way you would like. I simply sewed on
three rows of decorative rick-rack. |
|
|
Zigzag a close
stitch around the whole outer edge of the felt change purse. |
|
|
Cut Velcro the
size you want it. Pin in place. Sew around the outer edge of the Velcro.
|
|
|
Fold up the bottom, ugly sides
together, to form a purse with a flap.
Stitch both sides. Stitch again. |
|
|
Your little felt change purse
is done. It can be used for other things too like an ipod holder or a cell
phone holder. |
