Very easy to sew polar bear felt craft for kids.

This adorable felt polar bear is fun to make and can be made by using a luncheon plate and hair-tie for your patterns. This easy-to-sew project is great for kids and needs only one circle of sewing which can be done by hand or by machine.
 
How to Make an EASY TO SEW Felt Polar Bear Craft Project
 
You will Need:
 
2 little black fuzzy pompoms
2 -  9"X12" pieces of white felt
black felt scraps
craft stuffing
basic sewing supplies

Here's a real easy to sew felt polar bear craft for kids to sew by hand or by machine.

Here are the supplies you will need to make the felt polar bear craft project.

Here's a real easy to sew felt polar bear craft for kids to sew by hand or by machine.

Using a luncheon plate trace the plate and cut out two circles from the felt.

Using the hair-tie cut out two pieces of white felt for the ears, and one piece of black felt for the polar bear's nose.

Here's a real easy to sew felt polar bear craft for kids to sew by hand or by machine.

Place the two polar bear faces together. Place the ears and nose in place as shown. Pin around the outer edge of the face as shown.

Stitch using the pressure foot as your guide around the edge of the bear's face. Leave an opening on the side. On the left side of the face in the photo you will see double pins making an "X", this is our way of showing not to sew there.

Here's a real easy to sew felt polar bear craft for kids to sew by hand or by machine.

Stuff the polar bear gently with stuffing. Do not over stuff the polar bear because felt fabric is a "pressed" fabric and can easily be torn and/or stretched out of place.

Very easy to sew polar bear felt craft for kids.

Pin the opening closed on the polar bear's face and sew it closed.

Glue the black fuzzy pompoms on for the eyes.

Your adorable polar bear craft is finished!
