Olivia showing her denim jacket she made in our advance denim coat class. She used flat-felled seams, made button holes, set-in-sleeves, and trimmed her collar and cuffs in white fur.  Looks fantastic!

These pants were made by Heather.  They had plenty of pockets added. This was an intermediate to difficult pants pattern.  Heather trimmed her black denim pants in red buttons and red topstitching.  She also used a flat-felled seam on the side seams..  Fantastic job. Who needs stores like "Hot topic" when you can make your own cool pair of black denim pants?

I am so proud of Erika and Sara and their awesome, very cool, denim jackets they made.  They took their time, took pride in their work, and never tried a "short-cut" or "cheating" in their sewing.  They never complained when I gave them instructions, or said something had to be ripped out.  The both of them make me proud to be a sewing teacher!!! This is the first time they, made button holes, did a flat-felled seam, worked with a collar, and trimmed a garment in faux fur.
