A Garden Quilt |
|
The photos of this
garden quilt that a friend of mine made doesn't due justice to the beauty
of this wonderful quilt. It took many hours and much patience to make it.
I would encourage any advance quilter to attempt to make this beautiful
quilt. As far as beginner quilter, why not begin by doing just one
block. The photo below shows two blocks. Even a beginner attempting these
blocks might be a bit too much.

The quilt patterns for this quilt are amazing. Each block represents a part of a garden or a particular flower or group
of flowers. The blocks of the quilt are surrounded by wonderful
floral print fabric squares sewn together to make a quilt border as you can see in the photo
above and below. |

sunflower block.

Notice the
butterflies, bird house, bird bath, watering can, and the many pretty
flowers. You can actually purchase this quilt if you are interested

here. She only made one so when it is sold, it's gone. |
