How to Sew the Hatband:

To make the hatband, cut a piece of the print fabric 8" X 36", (or longer if you prefer.) Fold the fabric band PRETTY sides together and pin down the one long end and one short end. Stitch the long end and one short end using a 1/4" seam, or the pressure foot as your guide.

Once you have sewn the hatband and turned it, press it nice and flat.

Turn hatband pretty side out through opening at the other small end. Press nice and flat. Fold edges where the opening is in and stitch closed.
