Materials:
1 pair size 8 needles
1 skein
soft yarn for babies
a strip of scrap fabric for the bow

Cast
on 8 stitches. |

Knit each row until you reach about
14", then cast off. |

Lap on side over the other and pin
in place. |

Either hand stitch or machine stitch
using a zig-zag stitch. Trim all threads and yarn. |

Cut a strip of fabric 2" X 18" for
the flower. Fold fabric in half. Tie a knot at one end. |

Wrap fabric around the knot and
twist the fabric on each side as you get to it. Place spots of glue
occasionally to help hold the flower in place. Continue doing so until you
have formed the size flower you want. |

Hand stitch the flower onto the
headband over the same. This hides the seam! |
