These are some of the hats that our knitting expert and contributor of Love to Sew, Sarah, knitted for different gifts. See more of her work here in her knitting portfolio.

A stylish hat that was knitted and crocheted.

National Iceskater, Roobi, shows her knitted and crocheted hat that her grandmother made for her. What a hip grand mom to make something so stylish for Roobi to wear both on and off the ice.

Scarves are quick and easy to knit.

Knitting scarves is one of my favorite things to do because I can get them done so quickly, and because they make great gifts for my family and friends.  There is only one problem...I fall in love with them and end up keeping them all.  Each of these scarves were supposed to be a Christmas gift this year for my mom, sister, daughters, and friends but I kept them all....oops...I better plan better next year.

Lindsay won this knitting kit from winning 1st place at one of our Project Youth RUNWAY challenges.  The kit was provided by: The Oxygen Network.  She went home and began knitting right away!

Lyn's very fashionable hat she crocheted.

Lyn crocheted this very trendy hat in teal and blue!

Sisters Emily (11) & Sara (9) knitted these adorable hats!

You will want to knit a big fluffy warm scarf for the winters we have up north!

Sarah knitted a big scarf for those cold winters we have up north! This scarf was a knit/purl pattern using big needles.

Lindsay knits a BIG scarf!

Lyn's new blue and teal scarf she knitted!

Lynn knitted this beautiful blue and teal scarf! She used BIG needles to get these big stitches on her very cool scarf.
