Love to Sew Studio Uses Brother Project Runway Sewing Machines

Dress Forms for Making Your Own Clothes

Love to Sew Studio in Chadds Ford, PA

We Love To Sew and It Shows!

Computerized sewing machines with some embroidery features for those who love Fashion Design.

This is our "kitty cat" area! Everything from the curtains, to the wall hanging, to the sewing machine covers has a silhouette of a kitty cat.  This idea and design was inspired by one of our students, Rebecca! These machines are great for beginners and are used for crafting, quilting, and dress making.

Plenty of patterns, books, and ideas are on hand!

Have you tried your hand at Fabric Art yet? It's fun... no rules, just plain fun.

We have plenty of different size dress forms for students to work on. See our class schedule here.

OUR SEWING GARDEN

Outside of the studio's entrance doorway, we like to have some fun "sewing garden" surprises mixed in with our flowers. Here are some photos of our "Sewing Garden." We love to find old antique sewing equipment and supplies and use them in our garden.  Here is an old shutter dating back to the late 1800's.  We painted it, aged it, and added letters and flowers.

Yes, you are seeing things right. These are little metal dresses on a hanger.  We painted them pink, added a bow, and then "planted" them in our garden.

To make it perfectly clear that new students are in the right place, we painted resin letters pink and "planted" them in our sewing garden.

This life-size Victorian metal dress form was a perfect addition to our sewing garden.

What would a "sewing garden" be without an antique sewing machine? My sister Jennifer found this beautiful antique singer sewing machine at a flea-market and surprised me with it one day. It was part of my living room furniture for awhile, and then I moved it into our sewing garden under an overhang and I place flowers, plants, and outdoor crafts surrounding it during the holidays.
