Misses and Misses Dress and Tunic
Lynn from
Bakersfield, California sends us this review:
Grade:
A
The Good:
With this pattern I made a
cute sundress. Even though I'm a novice I think it turned out real
cute. With this pattern, you will do a lot of gathering. The skirt
is gathered, the bodice is created and the cups of the bodice are
gathered. The dress zips up the back. If done properly, it has a
very nice fit to it.
The Bad:
The greatest challenge for me,
as a novice sewer, was in the bodice area, as you construct the
entire bodice area down to the cup, so you must be careful with the
fit, as this is the focal point of the dress.
My Project:
As a new sewer, I was real
excited with the outcome of this dress and I have to say, I am
very grateful for seam rippers! I'm looking forward to more sewing
in my future.
