Homemade Christmas Candy - White Chocolate Peppermint Bark

White Chocolate Peppermint Bark
This Christmas candy is delicious and refreshing. Each bite offers a burst of peppermint taste along with the sweetness of white chocolate. The green and red peppermint pieces make the candy cheerful and pretty for the Christmas season.

This Christmas candy taste and looks best with white chocolate.  However, it can be made with both milk and dark chocolate wafers as well. Melt the white chocolate wafers to the correct consistency. Place a piece of wax paper in a cookie sheet. Pour the melted chocolate onto a piece of wax paper. Make sure the chocolate stays in the middle of the paper. If need be, set up a second cookie sheet with wax paper.

Drop pieces of green and red peppermint candy throughout the melted chocolate. Allow to harden.

Once the candy is hard break it up into bit size pieces about 2". Display on a pretty antique pedestal dish surrounded by Christmas greenery or place in individual clear bags with a bow around it.

When wrapping your candy pieces in individual bags, the curved bags work best as shown on the left because they have an area at the bottom to put the candy in, and then a curve to tie the bow around. However, if all you can find is the regular rectangular bags, they work just fine too.

This homemade Christmas candy decorated nicely in a bag makes a creative and thoughtful gift for co-workers, teachers, and clients. It also makes a nice gift topper instead of a traditional bow.

I always add a nice mini Christmas ornament to the bag. It gives the bag of candy of nice festive touch.

I have been selling homemade candies for years, and adding a little touch of Christmas embellishment really makes the candy more festive and more appealing to the eye making your candy sell better.
