A handmade Besty Ross flag!

Maddie made this realistic replica quilt of the 1776 Betsy Ross flag in preparation for her school presentation. We learned that president Washington and Ms. Ross sat in the same pew at church.

Kylie doing the finishing touches on her quilt. She chose all different shades of blue for her quilt with a flannel backing. You can learn How to make an Easy Piece Quilt too!

GO EAGLES!

Jacqueline, who is a big "Philadelphia Eagles Fan", made this Quilt from greens, tans, blacks, and Eagles fabric.  She can snuggle up with this lap quilt when she watches the game on the big screen!

Olivia is one of my most enthusiastic students who just loves to sew & sew & sew!!!  She is always happy to be here and eager to start her next project.  Here she is adding bows from yarn to finish her quilt.

Here is one of my youngest students, Olivia.  She has been sewing with Crafts of Chadds Ford since she just turned six.  She takes her time on each and every project, and picked up the art of sewing very naturally. Olivia chose all pastel colors for her quilt.

Quilts come in all kinds of styles, shapes and sizes. When making your quilt determine and chose your fabrics and designs carefully. An awesome quilt is the scrappy quilt. Scrappy quilts are made out of whatever leftover (or "scrap") fabric is lying around. "Fat Quarters" are great to use for this type of quilt.

The patriotic quilt is AWESOME! Matilda took her time and did a great job.  I just love the color scheme on this quilt.

Here is Alyssa 1st Quilt.  Nice colors!!!

Here is Amber's second quilt.  She chose bright oranges and yellows. This quilt she wants to use as a beach blanket. I enlarged this photo so you can see how perfect each square is matched.  She took her time on this quilt and it shows.

Here are pictures of Katie (left) and Brittany (right) who made matching quilts.  Great choice of colors girls!!! You can learn How to make an Easy Piece Quilt too!
