This adorable baby girl
patchwork quilt is so easy anyone can make it. Just simply sew squares
together and then appliqué little ducks and baby bottles on it! How
Cute!!! |

Hailey sends us this:
Hi! My name is Hailey and I'm 10 years old. These are my projects that I
made and entered in the fair last year. This was my 2nd quilt that I made
and I gave it to my friend for her Birthday. I'm sending a new picture
with the projects I entered this year, just as soon as I get them back in
a few days. I hope you like my things. The new picture I will send has
the skirt pattern that's on your website. I made 4 skirts from this and
this summer we made 22 skirts one for each girl in our Community In
Schools program and my mom helped to organize and do the work. It was fun
picking out fabrics and everyone getting to write down their sizes and
things. Thanks for all the neat stuff on your website, we love it. |

Here is Miss Jaqi's quilt. If you look
closely this quilt represents her belts in Karate. (white, yellow,
orange, purple, blue, green, brown, and black. This was supposed to
be a gift for her instructor but she likes it so much I think she is going
to keep it! You can learn How to make an Easy Piece Quilt
too! |

Christina and her "My 1st
Quilt." I love the country colors and prints she made her quilt with. |

Here is Katie working on her quilt. She
likes the colors that seemed to be the most popular this year, blues and
purples. Good job Katie!!! |

Wow! Two "My 1st Quilt"
pieced quilts sewn together, to make one big quilt! |
| Quilts come in all
kinds of styles, shapes and sizes. When making your quilt determine and
chose your fabrics and designs carefully. An awesome quilt is the scrappy
quilt. Scrappy quilts are made out of whatever leftover (or "scrap")
fabric is lying around. "Fat Quarters" are great to use for this
type of quilt. |

Here is Heather's quilt. She did this
as a beginner , and did a great job!!! |
|

Here is Alyssa's quilt. The best thing
I like about Alyssa is, she is always eager to learn more, and always
asking why do we do that? She doesn't want to just make her project,
she wants to figure out why and how things are made. |
