Cheerful Pillow Cases for
Kids with Terminal Illnesses
Eight students
spent their Saturday making cheerful pillow cases for children with
terminal illnesses. A special thanks to Sarah's dad for making this day
happen!
Lots of cheerful and fabrics
of fun colors were used... We talked
about the purpose of this event before we began sewing, and how lucky we
all are to have our health, and we shouldn't take it for granted. We
discussed the importance of us helping those in need and how this hit home
with our family as Jamie lost a friend she hung out with at school at age
12 to cancer.
