Pine Cone Snowman Craft Project
 

Pinecone snowman craft to do with the kids during winter time.

This adorable little snowman craft is made from a pinecone!
 
How to Make a Pine Cone Snowman Craft Project
 
You will Need:
 
pine cone
fabric scraps  for the scarf
Styrofoam ball (about 2" or 3")
craft stuffing
black felt scraps
2 googly eyes
orange pipe cleaner
basic craft supplies

Supplies for Pinecone snowman craft to do with the kids during winter time. Here are the supplies you will need to make the pine cone snowman craft.
How to make a little snowman top hat from black felt. First let's make the snowman's top hat:

Cut a piece of black felt 2 1/2" X 1 1/2". Either glue or hand sew the 1 1/2" ends together to form a cylinder as shown in the photo.

How to make a little snowman top hat from black felt. Cut a circle the size of the whole and glue or hand sew on one end of the top hat.

Cut a second circle for the bottom of the hat about 1/2" bigger to form the bottom of the top hat and either hand sew or glue to the bottom.

Pinecone snowman craft to do with the kids during winter time. Glue the hat and 2 googly eyes on the Styro ball to make the snowman's face.

Cut a piece of black felt to make the snowman's mouth and glue on.

Cut a piece of orange pipe cleaner about 2" and fold in half. Stick the pipe cleaner into the face to form a "carrot nose."

Pinecone snowman craft to do with the kids during winter time. Glue the head of the snowman to the top of the pine cone. You might have to cut off a little bit of the top of the pine cone.
Pinecone snowman craft to do with the kids during winter time. Place some craft batting and around the pine cone. You will not need to glue this in place, it will adhere to the pine cone.

Tie the scarf around the snowman's neck.

Last, glue a piece of cardboard or thin wood to the bottom of the pine cone for a base to hold up the snowman. To hide the base, glue some craft batting.

Your adorable pine cone snowman project is finished!
