Handmade Christmas Tree Ornaments

Learn to sew a fabric pinwheel.

These awesome fabric pinwheels are easy to sew and look best when using opposite colors!

Free Christmas Tree Ornament Sewing Pattern:

How to Make a Christmas Pin Wheel Ornament

You will Need:

small scraps of red, cream, and green cotton fabric

ribbon for handle (or use a metal ornament hook)

button

interfacing

basic sewing needs

	Cut two 5” squares of Christmas fabric in opposite colors. (One of each color)
	Cut interfacing just a tad bit smaller than 5”, and iron it on the ugly side of each piece.
	Place the fabrics ugly sides together and pin around the outer edge of the square. Stitch around the square using the pressure foot as your guide.
	From each corner, cut almost to the center.
	Stitch around each slit that you just cut to hold the fabric together.
	Gather up each left corner and bring to the center of the square. This creates the pinwheel. Stitch in place at the center.
	Hand stitch a button in the center of your pinwheel. Your Fabric Pinwheel Christmas tree ornament is finished!
