How to Make a Pompom Bug Critters on a Leaf Craft for a Sunday School lesson on creation.

You know its spring time when the spring peepers are nice and loud outside, and critters and bugs start coming out of their winter homes to greet us. Here's a cute "Welcome Spring" craft you can make with the kids using an empty toilet paper roll.
 
How to Make a Pompom Critter Bug on a Toilet Paper Roll Log
 
You Will Need:
 
pompoms
popsicle stick
toilet paper roll
green paper
googly eyes
glitter
basic arts & crafts supplies
 
 
 
       
 
Paint the toilet paper roll brown to make a log for the pompom critter to sit on. Paint the toilet paper roll with brown paint. Let dry. Glue the popsicle stick to the bottom of the toilet paper roll. This helps keep the log in place and not roll.
Cut a leaf from green construciton paper for the little pompom critter to sit on. Cut out a leaf from the green paper. Glue the leaf onto the top of the toilet paper roll.

Glue the pompom bug onto the paper leaf on top of the toilet paper roll.
