Clean, with lots of black and white with accent colors, more
classic than trendy, but still current. My personal style icon is
Gwyneth Paltrow. |
| Favorite Design
to Date: A small neck scarf with a peacock
stitch design. The pattern is a great accent piece and serves a
practical purpose. |

The
poncho was my first attempt and I'm thrilled at the results. It's made from Vanna
White's line of acrylic yarn, Vanna's Choice by Lion Brand. I used a
pattern by Sarah
Lucas and Allison Isaacs.
This poncho is for my Aunt Suzanne, a wonderful lady who someone somehow
stayed sane in a house with 5 children and 2 - 3 dogs at all times. |

The
green/brown ear flap hat is adult sized and
knitted from 100% wool. It was my
very first hat and always keeps me warm. |
|

The
scarf was knitted by doing a simple alternating stripe also done in cashmerino. It's long and
thin, meant to be wrapped around the neck more than once. The colors were
inspired by my brother, Johnny, my partner in crime and best friend. |
|

The
striped ear flap hat was
knitted for a 4 year old girl who loves pink. This was also
knitted in the same cashmerino blend, a favorite yarn of mine. The ear flaps
and the chin tie ensure it stays put on a very, very active little girl. |
|
These are a pair of two baby's hats that were
knitted with love, which are intended for twin boys on
the way. The yarn is a cashmerino blend, which is great for small children
because it's both soft and easy to clean. |
|

The
hand knitted grey ribbed hat is adult sized,
and made in a wool/acrylic blend. It's loose and baggy, meant to be worn pushed back, with extra room to
tuck hair into on a bad hair day, or with your hair peeking out framing
your face. I love it because it's great for a boho look on a cold day.
It's also a great beginner project. |
|

The pot holders/trivets are simple squares in a seed stitch. The yarn is
an acrylic blend from a small shop in
London and
was purchased on a trip with her dear, dear friend Jessica Harris.
Somehow, they work best when protecting hands from the teapot bought on
the same trip! |
