We love to watch Project RUNWAY
on Bravo TV. In fact, it's the number one talked about topic during
our sewing, dress making, and fashion design classes. So we decided
to put our students to the test and ran 2 weeks of Project
"youth" RUNWAY challenges.

Kristina challenges herself in making a matching outfit for herself and

Our Camp Project
RUNWAY Barbie Challenge 2006. Nine designers and their Barbie's
dressed for a sweet 16th birthday party. |
Our 1st challenge for the beginner to
intermediate designers was "All Dolled Up". The young designers
received an invitation to a Sweet 16 Birthday party for Barbie's friend
Sandy. Barbie had nothing to wear so the girls had to design an
outfit using no patterns. After the challenge was over and judging was
done we had a sweet 16 birthday party for Sandy. Designers came from
Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, and Hong Kong. |
