Dress Forms for Making Your Own Clothes

Welcome to our Camp Project RUNWAY... (2006)

We're on pins & needles about it!  (Page 2)

We love to watch Project RUNWAY on Bravo TV.  In fact, it's the number one talked about topic during our sewing, dress making, and fashion design classes.  So we decided to put our students to the test and ran 2 weeks of Project "youth" RUNWAY challenges.

The girls worked hard to meet their daily deadlines of their challenges at Camp Project "youth" RUNWAY!

Back to School Challenge...Designers had to make a skirt and an accessory, (book bag, pencil case, hat, etc...)

Catherine...our winner of this challenge.

Our Final Challenge and end of the week Party Celebration... Designers had to pick a name out of a jar and then design a complete outfit for that designer.  Designers had 6 hours including lunch to complete this project.  Lots of fun!!! Lots of nice outfits and ideas.

Olivia showing the outfit she made for Catherine.  Olivia took 2nd in this challenge.
