For 2010 we did our Project
RUNWAY (Project Challenge Camp) a little different. Since our
challenges were much more complicated this year we only took 3 of our top
advance dedicated students who could handle the technical end of the
sewing skills part, so that we could concentrate on the design end. Check
out our challenges below.

The Challenge: Design a Concert
Outfit for Upcoming Pop Star - Jamie Marie
Each designer had 6
hours to design and make an outfit for Jamie Marie's concert promoting
her debut album "NEXT CHAPTER." Designers had to keep in mind that she
will be singing and dancing on stage and that she needed to be
comfortable in her new pop rock look.
The Winning Look!
Even though young
fashion designer Alexandra (photo on right) was our winner, Jamie
Marie loved all three looks and wants to use all of them in some of
her future concerts.
This is thirteen year
old Zoe's look she designed for Jamie Marie.
Fourteen year old
fashion designer, Rachel, made Jamie Marie an awesome layered top from
black leather, purple knit, and gold satin fabric.
