"Beautiful Blues" quilt

"Beautiful  Blues"

This quilt was a little on the difficult side, but it was well worth it.  I love this quilt and it proudly sits in my living room!

"Christmas Rags"

This Christmas quilt is ragged around each heart and tree. This is really cool to see up close and it was very easy to make!  It was supposed to be a gift for a relative but I liked it so much, I kept it! (sorry Aunt Betty

"Sunset in Africa" quilt

 "Sunset in Africa"

Once again I wish you could see this quilt up close.  It is all African prints.  I found this quilt pattern in a book and made the top in about 3 hours.  This was a very easy quilt to make!

"How much is that doggy in the window".

I made about a dozen of these "window" mini hanging quilts and sold all of them in a craft show in 2002. They were a lot of fun to make.

"Black Sheep"

I named this quilt "Black Sheep".  My sister told me she just redid her bedroom in Black and Tan, and she wanted a quilt to throw over her chair. I had less than 2 weeks to do this, so I made a simple one.  I love the colors in this quilt, they are sheep colors.  I plead the 5th on any other explanation of why I named it "Black Sheep".

"Santa Collector"

I collect Santas.  I had to take this off my shelf at a craft show and add it my personal collection.  Once again it was a lot of fun to make! I love how the blue snowflake fabric is in the window. It looks like they are really outside on a snowy day.

"Chincoteague Island Dreams"

This quilt originally was made 7 years ago for my mom when she lived in PA and I never finished it.  Then she moved to beautiful Chincoteague Island and changed her colors from blues and burgundy's to blues and yellows. So I added the yellow border and the corner patches to match her new living room down the beach. So I guess you could say this quilt took 7 years to finish. Chincoteague Island...my favorite vacation place on the Eastern Shore.
