These two rag quilts were made from fleece
fabric. Linda from Oregon says they are great cuddlers and are
simple and quick to make! |
|

This quilt comes to us from
Margo who lives in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. She decided she wanted to
try her hand at making a rag quilt and what a wonderful quilt she made!
Her quilt was made with three layers of complementary flannel. One side is
a pink, mauve, and mint green floral, the middle was mint green, and the
other side was a blue, pink, and mint green floral. These prints
really look nice together! Here is a close-up of the raggedy part.

Rag quilts are awesome to make. There is no right or wrong side of a
raggedy quilt. Since this is a "Rag Quilt" the best fabric to use would be
fabrics that "rag" nicely. Fabrics like cotton, denim,
homespun, and flannel work well. You can make a quick and easy rag
quilt too. Just buy your favorite fabric prints and colors.
