| 1/2 yard of red
satin fabric |
| scraps of lace |
| fiberfill for
stuffing |
| basic sewing needs |

| You will LOVE this quick and
easy to sew Valentine's project. This elegant red satin heart with lace
will add charm to your Valentine decorating. |

Now let's make a heart pattern. Take an
8.5"X11" piece of computer paper and fold the short ends together. Draw a
half of a heart. Then cut heart pattern out and pin on two layers of satin
fabric as shown. |

Cut out heart. Pin two hearts
PRETTY SIDES TOGETHER. Leave a 4" opening on the right side of the heart
as indicated by the double pins in the photo. |

Stitch around the heart
using
the pressure foot as your guide. Turn heart pretty side out through the
opening. Stuff heart and hand sew opening closed. |
 |
Place a strip of lace
diagonally across heart and hand stitch on the back. |
 |
Tie a bow with lace and hand
sew on top of the lace on front.
Display your elegant red satin and lace heart amongst all your Valentine
