Easy to sew Valentine's day craft project; a red and white heart shapped pillow.

You will Need:
 
scraps of red and white Valentine's day fabric
fiberfill for stuffing
basic sewing needs
 
Add charm to your home decorating this Valentine's day with this easy to sew Red & White Heart pillow.

Now let's make a heart pattern. Take an 8.5"X11" piece of computer paper and fold the short ends together. Draw a half of a heart as shown.
Cut out your heart pattern. Open pattern and draw a line diagonally to divide heart as shown. Cut on the line.
Easy to sew Valentine's day craft project. Using your two heart pattern pieces pin and cut out one of each pattern piece to your two different fabrics.
Valentine's day heart pillow project to sew. Pin the top and bottom heart pieces PRETTY SIDES TOGETHER at center seam. Stitch seam using the pressure foot as your guide.
Learn to sew a pillow. Press your fabric heart piece nice and flat. Use the heart you just created as a pattern for the back of the heart. Pin and cut out one heart.
Here's an easy to sew Valentine's day project; a heart shapped pillow. Place front and back of heart pieces PRETTY SIDES TOGETHER. Pin in place. Using double pins as shown in the photo leave a 4" opening. Stitch around outer edge of heart.
Hand sew the opening closed on your pillow. Turn heart pretty side out and gently poke the point of heart area. Stuff heart with fiberfill stuffing.
Sewing projects and patterns for Valentine's day decorating. Hand sew the opening together.
