LOVE TO SEW - SEW FOR A CAUSE

Occasionally Love to Sew will host sewing
events where our students sew for charity or help the unfortunate.
In the past we have made mittens for children's shelter, quilts
for kids with cancer, heart pillows for those who have had heart
surgery, and pillow cases for kids with cancer. The cost for these
classes are usually a very minimal fee to cover fabric and
supplies, and food for the students if it is an extended class.
You must have at least 6 months of sewing classes to join
one of our "Sew for a Cause" class. |

Come make a
cheerful pillow case for a child with cancer or other serious
illnesses. If you are available please come and help make a
hospital stay as pleasant as possible for a chronically ill child
by making a bright and cheerful pillowcase for them. Making a
pillow case is easy, rewarding, and it can have a positive impact
on a child in need. Come make a difference. All fabric will be
pre-cut so when you arrive we will just sew, no patterns to cut
out! We are collecting a minimal fee of $10.00 to help cover some
of the fabric, (some fabric was donated... thank you Sarah's dad!
but we still need more.) and to help cover snacks we are
providing. |
