Check out the fine detail in
this tote bag that Jessica, one of our instructors, made. She
sketched the silhouette of the Dandy Lion, then used a heat bond to set it
in place. What detail, and what a great job. |

Plenty of detail and hard
work Jena put into sewing this difficult back-pack. There were 12 pattern
pieces to cut out and then sew together, the bag was lined in black
fabric, plenty of snaps and loops were attached, and lots of skinny straps
were tri-folded, pressed, and then sewn. What a professional looking
bag she made! |

Here is Haley's Alpaca bag.
The alpaca on her bag is actually made from alpaca fibers which Haley made
into fabric using a wet felting process. |
|

Erika not only
designed and made her skirt, she also made her matching pink purse too. |
|

Alyssa made this
adorable hot pink and black tiger print fully lined purse. |
|

Catie designed and made this
adorable tote bag with no pattern. She added large buttons on the
side and braided the handle. She used
flat-felled seams on the sides of her bag. GREAT JOB Catie! |

Teresa made a fully
lined pocket book for her Aunt's birthday present. If you look closely at
the tag in the middle, it says, "Handmade with love by Teresa."
Grammies, moms, aunts, and just about any family member loves handmade
gifts!!! |

Heather finished off
the sewing year with making a pirate purse!!! |
