Pants that were sewn

These adorable Aladdin Pants were brought to us by Anshu who runs Blooms and Bugs Etsy shop where you can purchase very cute handmade clothes for little girls. You can also learn how to make them on her blog. These pants can look good on both boys and girls just switch up the colors!

This pants pattern was a more difficult pattern to make.  It required adult guidance for the entire project.  The pattern included difficult things like: a separate waist band to sew in, a zipper, button hole, casing, pockets, plus the fabric was a slippery ultra suede. As you can see, it was a success, and these pants are worn quit a bit at school, church, and activities.

    These pants were made by Heather.  They had plenty of pockets added. This was an intermediate to difficult pants pattern.  Heather trimmed her black denim pants in red buttons and red topstitching.  She also used a flat-felled seam on the side seams..  Fantastic job. Who needs stores like "Hot topic" when you can make your own cool pair of black denim pants?

Kylie made these bloomers for herself and her friend. They had bought the Halloween doll outfits and when they tried them on, the dresses were way to short. Kylie thought of the great idea to make white bloomers. She used a simple pj pants pattern, shorted the hem to the knee and added lace! How simple but clever!

Jena stitched up these adorable kitty cat soft flannel pajama pants for her sister for Christmas. She even added a cut tail!

Kelly made these light weight blue denim Capri's for her cousin.  She also made the dress she is wearing!!!!

Taking a closer look at these Capri's, this was an easier project to make.  This is a great project for a beginner or kids to sew because it has an elastic waist band.  If you take a close look at the hem, there is NO hem.  This denim fabric had a natural "fray" at the end that won't come apart.  The pattern was positioned so that the bottom of the pant leg was there.  How awesome!!!
