Love to sew studio celebrates their 14th year teaching others to sew.

Teach others to sew, become a sewing instructor, open your own sewing school or studio, make money teaching sewing.

Love To Sew Studio is celebrating their 13th year of running a successful sewing studio which continues to grow. We want to help you succeed in teaching kids and adults to sew too! So, we built a sister-site, which is FILLED with information oh how we became so successful so quickly. If you have the desire to help others to sew, we want to help you succeed.
There are no pattern packets to purchase or anything else to purchase from us. You do not have to join or register with us like other programs have you do. We began in the corner of the family den and now operate a very successful sewing studio with several instructors teaching more than 200 students each year. We just like to share! is packed with important information for you to start instructing others to sew, and it is updated almost every day!

(personal note from Judi)  I had a dream once that if I could, I would give every person in the world the opportunity to learn to sew and that is why I started this website, But then I had a dream to help the instructors around the world who wanted to start teaching sewing, and I made up a "Sewing Teachers Starter kit" that I used to sell for $285.00. It was filled with lots of goodies like t-shirts, note pads, sewing kits, sewing awards, sample papers and brochures, and a 40 page booklet that I wrote with all my classes, projects, ideas, sewing parties, and workshops I ever had. I shared everything that I knew about opening your own sewing studio and teaching others to sew in that kit. But then I realized that I'd rather share that information for free than have to charge people. To make that happen, I built a 50 page website filled with information to get you started and lead you to a successful studio! And yes, I share all my secrets with you!  The site is filled with 13 years worth of information to help you on your way to building your own sewing studio, whether it's part time just two nights a week, or 5 days a week teaching all day, I want to help you! So why not make money doing something you love; Make money teaching people to sew.

We can help you teach kids to sew with our Sewing Teachers Starter Kit.

In  2001 Love to Sew Studio began by using the corner area of our family den with four students, (3 of which were nieces) 1 table, and 3 sewing machines. Word grew quickly about the new "learn to sew" place in town.

You can teach others to sew.

Within the first two years we outgrew our little corner of the family den and had a  9'X15' sunroom built to use for the studio. We had grown to 20 full time weekly students and over 100 students for summer camps.

Love to Sew Studio in Chadds Ford Pennsylvania has sewing and fashion design classes for kids.

By 2009 we "officially" had a studio attached to the house with our own front entrance, bathroom, loft, 8 sewing machines, 6 dress forms, and an exit leading to the picnic area for summer camp lunches. By this time we had annual fashion shows, several students who went off to college for fashion, three students became instructors, annual trips to NY city to visit Mood and tour Parsons school of design, and TV stations like The Oxygen Channel, Bravo TV, and several other TV stations needing teen designers for commercials contacting us. Also magazines such as Sew News, VOGUE, and Quilt magazines asking us for articles. It has been an exciting adventure for us!

There is so much more to be said.  If you love to sew like I do, and would like to turn your "sewing hobby" or "love of sewing" into a home-based sewing business and begin making money teaching kids and adults to sew, then I would like to help you. Whether you want a one or two day after school program of 6-8 students as a part time job, or if your desire is to have a large sewing school with 60-80 students, we want to help your vision come true.

See our website,

It is updated daily with new information, projects, classes to offer your students, and ideas for sewing parties, workshops, trips, and more for you and your students!

OH, I almost forgot, once you have your studio up and running send us an email with your information and we'll put your studio information in our sewing studio directory and give you your very own webpage on our high-traffic site. This will help you get more students to your studio! It is for free forever!
