How to Sew a fabric strawberry tree ornament.

These adorable fabric strawberry ornaments look cute enough to eat!  They are super quick and easy to sew, and will add charm to your Christmas tree. The fabric strawberries can be made of cotton calico and the stems from felt.

 

Free Christmas Tree Ornament Sewing Pattern:

How to Make a Fabric Strawberry Ornament

 
You will Need:
small scraps of red, cream, and green cotton fabric
ribbon for handle (or use a metal ornament hook)
green felt for stem of strawberry
fiber fill or stuffing
basic sewing needs
 
       
 
How to sew a fabric strawberry tree ornament. With your fabric on a fold cut a cone shape about 3" X 3". Place the fabric pretty sides together forming a cone as shown in the photo. Use the pressure foot as your guide, stitch the side seam.

Turn the strawberry pretty side out. Stuff with fiberfill.

Use a running stitch and hand stitch around the top outer edge of the strawberry.

Hot glue the top on.
