Summer Sewing Camps 2004

Photo Page

Photo of the Summer of 2004

Just for fun, each summer I pick a "Photo of the Summer."  This one wins this year... I like fabric choice and the color scheme of the kimono that Kelly made and how she decided to stand for the photo.  I like how she picked to be standing near the Japanese garden too.

A Little Green froggie...

There's sponge bob square pants!!!

Purple shorts !!!

Big feet !!!

Brother and Sister make quilts!!!

A cute little yellow Teddy Bear...(the Teddy bear was the most popular craft this summer)

Cool comfy p.j. pants

3 Little Kitties in a basket

A purple and green frog.

Alyssa is a fashion designer at age 8 !!! She took a basic pants pattern, changed it around from straight leg to wide, added 3 pockets,  and made a matching head scarf.

Erika and her awesome red quilt!!!

Alyson and her awesome green quilt!!!

Christina and her flannel kimono.

Cousins designed and made handkerchiefs for their grand moms.

Very cool comfy pants to hang out in...

Now that's the biggest quilt any one has made at this sewing school!!!!

Sewing with fur...hard...but nice results. This Fur Teddy Bear that Katie made is traveling all the way to Scotland.  It is a gift for her new little cousin who was born on August 23, 2004.

Red Lips !!!

Another cute little Teddy Bear.

AND another Teddy bear with matching p.j. pants.

Kelly in her AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL, Japanese Kimono that she made, standing  in my once started Japanese garden...(I never had time to finish it)

Bridgette made a night shirt for her American Girl doll.

Same pattern, one is a bathing suit cover-up and the other is a night shirt

Kim and her "foot" pillow with a gold toe ring.

Lucy and her "Snake in the Grass" pillow

Best Friends matching denim skirts

Amanda and her "mermaid" doll

Alycia and her 1st quilt

Catherine and her handmade fairy doll!!!!

Melanie spent the week making kitty cats, she made 5 in all!!!

Olivia is headed for the Jersey shore with her new beach bag!!!

Hey!!!! I caught some of the girls taking a break by the pool during lunch time!!!

Get back to the sewing machines!! BREAK TIME IS OVER....

Three friends make 3 skirts, (and 2 matching pocket books)

Laura and her awesome blue and green star pillow!!!

Becca and her Awesome woodland fairy doll !!!!

Katherine and her cowgirl doll. She made her doll and put the initials on the doll's scarf of a ranch her and her family go to each year.

Jacqueline, Amber, and their sharks by the pool.

Friendships were made (and skirts too.)
