Summer Sewing Camps 2005

Photo Page

Photo of the Summer of 2005

Just for fun, each summer I pick a photo of the summer.  This one wins this year...The girls picked this angle and shot and I think it is adorable. They are all hugging their "foot pillow" they made.

This photo was a close second for "Photo of the Summer" for 2005.

"Snakes & Frogs"

Yes, we provide chairs, but sometimes it's just more fun to "stuff" on the floor

An awesome denim bag, which was designed and made.  It is amazing how much one can learn in one week of sewing.

Jessica Sewing her Frog

Hey, it's a stuffing party.

Sara and her Harry Potter hat that she made.

Heather makes her version of the 1776 American flag.  She is appliquéing the 13 stars on in the photo. This flag will be displayed with pride in her family's den.

Courtney, Samantha, and Bethany showing their beautifully done Quilts !!! Great job girls...

Liz and Kim made pillows from blue silk fabric that Liz brought from China

Twins make quilts in their own color preference. Jaclyn has bright blue and purple and Alyson has earth tone colors. Great job girls...

Relaxing and enjoying "My 1st Quilt"

Alyssa and Froggie

Kate made a Teddy bear and clothes for her.

Katherine made an adorable little country sundress.

April thought of this awesome checkered black and white fur pillow and donated it to our school for other students to make.

The girls made Teddy bears, ballet shoe pillows, and a big ice-cream cone.

I promise....we really do provide chairs for the students, but there must be something fun about sitting on the floor to stuff and hand sew because they all do it....(I can't see how sitting on the floor would be fun...I would need someone to get me back up again...LOL)

Leslie made a beautiful quilt in all pinks...

Alyssa and Teddy Bear.

Bethany made this adorable quilt for a little boy.  It is being shipped to a children's missions home in Guatemala, Central America.

Erika and her cool wrap pool skirt.

Meghan and Lana showing their ribbon pillows that they designed and made.

Hey it's a mouse with an opening for catnip.

April made a skirt for the 1st day of school.  No pattern was used for this skirt. I love how she add ribbon and a bow.

Sisters make Gym bags of nylon.

Erika and a cute Teddy.

Great summer crafts... here are the makers and owners of the lost frogs, mermaids, and bright colored flowers.

That fish and frog belong in the group photo near the pond...

Sydney made an awesome pair of pants.

A lot of quilts were made this summer.  Here are the girls doing the last step in their quilting process.

These students are hard at work.

Friends make Teddy Bears.
