How to Make a Toilet Paper Roll Leprechaun Hat Craft

These green little Leprechaun hats would make great center pieces for a Luck of the Irish Saint Patrick's day Party! Write a name on each one and use them as a name plate on your green table setting.
How to Make a Toilet Paper Roll Leprechaun Hat
You Will Need:
empty toilet paper roll
black, yellow, and green construction paper
green and black craft paint
gold glitter craft paint
green pipe cleaner
green glitter
basic arts and crafts supplies
Paint the outside of the toilet paper roll green, set aside to dry.
Cut a strip of black paper for a band to go around the hat. Wrap the strip around the center of the toilet paper roll and secure with glue.
Cut out a square of yellow paper, fold it in half and cut another square out of the center. Unfold the first square, this is the buckle. Glue the buckle on the center of the black band on the toilet paper roll.
Cut out two circles from green paper, one slightly smaller than the other, for the top and bottom of the hat. Glue the bigger circle onto the bottom of the toilet paper roll, glue the smaller circle onto the top of the toilet paper roll.
Cut out a three leaf clover from green paper, spread a thin layer of glue on the clover and sprinkle on green glitter. Let dry.
Cut a green pipe cleaner in half and tape the clover onto one end of the green pipe cleaner. Poke the pipe cleaner so it sticks up out of the hat.
Spread a thin layer of glue on the top of the hat, and the bottom edge of the hat. Sprinkle on green glitter and let dry. Use some gold glitter paint on the yellow buckle. Let dry.
