Painted Toilet Paper Rolls & Tree Branches  Reindeer Christmas Craft

This Christmas the children will enjoy gathering the tree branches and painted this reindeer craft as much as their parents will enjoy displaying this adorable little creature!

How to make a Painted Toilet Paper Roll & Tree Branch  Reindeer Christmas Craft

You will Need:

2 empty toilet paper rolls
sticks from a tree branch
brown craft paint
2 large googly eyes
one large red pompom
basic craft supplies

First paint the toilet paper rolls brown and let dry.
Next glue the googly eyes and red pompom in place on one of the rolls as shown.
Have the children gather up some sticks and branches. Try and find sticks or branches that look like deer antlers as shown.

Cut the sticks to size to make 4 legs, 1 short piece for the neck, and 2 "forked" pieces for the antlers.

Using scissors, carefully poke two holes into the top of the toilet paper roll with the eyes and pompom attached. These are where the antlers will go.

Glue them in place.

Next cut four small holes onto the other toilet paper roll as shown and glue the four legs into place as shown.
Last, poke a hole in the top of one end of the toilet paper roll that is the body of the reindeer. Then poke a hole in the bottom of the head of the reindeer. Take the smallest stick (the neck) and push an end through each hole, attaching the head of the reindeer to the body.

Now stand him up! He is ready to spread some Christmas cheer.
