Brianna Made this adorable halter top from dark Hawaiian print summer cotton fabric.

Cristina models her black pleather baby doll top she made which was shown in a local fashion show.

Emily made this adorable summer top. This was quick & easy to make with an elastic back.

This peasant blouse is considered a beginner project to make. This adorable pattern would compliment any teen or child.

Jessica wanted to make a summer halter top and we didn't have a pattern she liked.  She measured herself, allowed room for seams, and drew her design on paper.  So, she designed and made her top. This is what we call fashion design.

Emily's "That's so Raven" top she made from Simplicity "That's so Raven" pattern series.

Most blouse, top, or shirt sewing pattern consist of: front bodice, back bodice, sleeve, collar, cuff, and facings. Usually fitted blouse patterns have a dart at the bust, shoulder, underarm, or waist allowing the garment to "fit" the front and back better. When purchasing sewing patterns for a top, blouse, or shirt, buy your pattern by your bust measurements.

Teresa took a big step in attempting this adorable top she made.  It is made from a 4 way stretch fabric, so when sewing this, she had to stretch and sew at the same time.  Great job, and it looks great on you :-)

Catherine made this key hole halter top from silk which was brought to us from China by another student.
