How to make a Valentine
Heart Quilt
Sewing for Valentine's
Day
Have some
HEART this Valentine's day and
make this quick and easy heart appliqué Valentine quilt.

You will need:
6- 10"X8" pieces of white fabric with small
valentine print hearts on it
6- 10"X8" pieces of pink fabric
6- 10"X8" pieces of red fabric
red fabric for border
fabric for back
batting |

First make a heart pattern
from paper. Cut out 6 red hearts. Place in the center of each white square
and zigzag appliqué on. |

Now let's make our rows.

Sew all the rows together to
form your top. Cut borders 5" by the length of each side. |
|
|
Sew on the side borders first,
then the top and bottom border. |
|
|
Press your quilt! |
 |
Now place the batting down
first, then the back of the quilt, and last the top of the quilt pretty
side down as shown in the photo. |
